HEAD CHEF AT TREEHOUSE KITCHEN
I believe that if we have the right tools, we can empower ourselves to heal and reconnect with our bodies.
My discovery of plant based food started four years ago. I was suffering from liver damage, caused mainly by prescription medication. That’s when I decided to take my health into my own hands and embark on this beautiful journey of health and wellness. I managed to get my liver back in good shape after a year of intense cleansing and eating plant based foods. Since then, I became determined to share the knowledge I have gained in order to cultivate awareness around the benefits of eating delicious and nourishing plant-powered foods.
My obsession with ensuring I was fueling my body with pure goodness led me to study Plant-Based Nutrition with Cornell University. Since then I started a blog where I share my recipes, and co-authored a cookbook to help people with food allergies, entitled What's Left to Eat? I provide catering services, using natural, locally-sourced foods for private events, yoga retreats and supper clubs. I also regularly give talks on plant-based nutrition and run wholistic cooking workshops.
